Introduce about
myself

My work explores the themes of fertility, male-female union, and the transformation of the female body across different time periods. My art is deeply rooted in nature, drawing comparisons between the natural world and the human form.

Through my artwork, I aim to celebrate the cyclical nature of life, the sacred bond between male and female, and the transformative power of the female body. I draw inspiration from the historical depictions of fertility goddesses, as well as the beauty and complexity of the human body., tantric diagrams,ore-modern paintings,abstraction, manuscript illuminations, yantra diagrams.

To explore these themes, I utilise a variety of mediums, including drawing, painting, and sculpture. Each medium allows me to experiment with different textures, colours, and forms, creating a diverse body of work that reflects the multifaceted nature of my subjects.

In my drawings, I explore the delicate lines and curves of the human form, emphasising the interplay between light and shadow to create depth and dimensionality. In my paintings, I experiment with bold colours and abstract forms, evoking the lush beauty of the natural world. I have also started exploring embroidery and applique techniques very recently.

My intention as an artist is to create a dialogue between the past and the present, the natural world and the human form. Through my work, I hope to inspire a deeper appreciation for the beauty and complexity of the human body, and the transformative power of the natural world.
